T Rowland Hughes described the stories of W J Griffith, which he brought together under the title Storïau’r Henllys Fawr, as “seven stories bubbling with sweet humour, and characters which can't be easily forgotten, stories which one can return to time and time again, to laugh once more at the antics and problems of the residents of Llanaraf.”
