E-book digital formats

Cromen offer e-books in both ePub and mobi formats. An obvious advantage of these formats is that it’s possible for the reader to adjust the size of the text displayed because one individual page doesn’t run on to another individual page.

EPUB

This is the commonest format and is suitable for reading e-books on the majority of e-readers including : Apple - iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch; Kobo - eReader; Barnes and Noble - Nook; Sony - Reader; BeBook; Bookeen - Cybook.

You can also read ePub format e-books on Mac and PC computers by using free applications such as Adobe Digital Editions. On Android systems you can use Aldiko. The application, FBreader, is suitable for Linux - and there are also versions for Mac, PC and Android.

MOBI

Amazon’s Kindle machines use the mobi format.
